We’re only a few weeks into 2013, but already the memories of New Year revelry, chinking glasses and making a long list of resolutions seem quite distant. A multitude of pinky promises were made by the girls at Boux HQ this year… many with a firm focus on health and fitness. Gossip breaks previously filled with fashion, food, parties and glossies have been replaced by talk of Body Attack, Spinning and ‘dry January’. Sound familiar? I also jumped straight on board, but opted for a less punishing approach…
Of course we all endeavour to stick to our promises, to be infinitely healthier and happier by this time next year. But with all the best intentions in the world, between the busy morning commutes, pre-packaged foods and post-work drinks it can be tricky to give our bodies the love and care that they deserve.
I’ve long been a fan of a fashion fix to perk up my spirits when I’m feeling run down, who isn’t? But I’ve recently discovered the fabulous benefits of indulging in essential vitamins and minerals. Packed with nutritious goodness for my skin, hair and nails, Perfectil supplements are my secret new beauty boost.
“Perfectil – because skin, hair & nails are deeply nourished from within.”
Feeling great on the inside and looking gorgeous head-to-toe is sure to leave us all brimming with confidence and set us up for a wonderful year. So, I’m giving five lucky readers the chance to treat themselves to some beautiful new Boux Avenue goodies and nourish their bodies from the inside out.
Simply tell me your top tips for feeling fabulous and you could win one of my five £20 Boux Avenue gift cards and a month’s supply of Perfectil.

Lots of love,
Miss B x
Meet up with friends as often as possible and have a good laugh together. x
Keep a pretty notebook by your bed and before you go to sleep each night write down one thing which has been good for you that day. Keep reading your back entries and this will make you feel blessed
No matter what my day holds I make sure I am wearing pretty underwear and mascara….always makes me feel fabulous on the inside
Drink lots of water, cut down on the caffeine and get enough sleep
My top tip for feeling fabulous is to believe you are! Unless you think you are fabulous, no one else will!
love yourself and stay true to the real you
Having a good gossip with the girls over lunch
Be with someone that makes you laugh, friend or partner it dosnt matter.
I always feel pretty fabulous after some morning exercise and a nice hot shower. No better way to start the day!
smile at everyone that looks at you, even when you dont feel like it, its a amazing feeling when strangers smile back
x
after a shower getting in a clean bed the best feeling ever
Drink gin, have regular smut and laugh a lot
I tried Perfectil a long time ago. It’s amazing!
I find that if I want to feel fabulous again after a miserable day, if I meditate I feel great afterwards.
Make sure I have the right amount of sleep.
To feel great after a hard day at work I always treat myself to a bubble bath with candles and a glass of wine and then fully moisturize and paint my nails. Who needs a boyfriend to make you feel special? It’s all about loving yourself too!
go for a haircut and blowdry, arrange to meet up with friends for a lunch and then home to a romantic meal for 2 with hubby. x
The thing that makes me feel fabulous is having a nice long soak in a hot bath full of bubbles xx
Not taking life so seriously, there’s always something to smile about
Not sweating the small stuff so much and chilling out a little more!
Matching well fitted underwear and nice happy scent Simple as that!
Deinitely to make sure you get enough sleep, I never feel as good as I do when I’ve had a perfect nights sleep…
Always make sure that you have some time for yourself no matter how busy your day is.
Even on a rubbish day my bf always makes me feel fabulous
Cheesy – but smile at one person a day that you wouldn’t normally… it soon becomes infectious
wow, awesome blog article. Thanks Again. Awesome.
Okay I’m convinced. Let’s put it to atcion.
I love your pottery Kathy! Here’s a real coemmnt, not Spam! I took a class way back at Duke (in the olden days!) and loved it, but never had a chance to continue. Kira has done some pottery work at DSA, but she prefers to build by hand. Unfortunately most of what they do goes back in the clay bin unfired due to budget limitations. Where are you taking the class?
You are doing wonderfully! I relzaied how much I miss pottery this fall. I’m hoping to somehow fit studio time into my life again come 2012. You chose some wonderful colors and techniques!
